Winning Streak EB Masterpiece *B +*S

Masterpiece was the first US buck we purchased and we had to pinch ourselves a few times that we were able to get our hands on this guy!

His dam, GCH Winning Streak EOT Amazing 5*M EEEE91, is one of Winning Streak's top does. Her breeder describes her as "the whole package - she shows, she milks and she does it with ease". She goes on to say, "Mazy is an incredibly dairy doe, she is sharp, angular, long and lean. She has a well attached, very capacious mammary system that milks down to nothing and has notable height of rear udder as well. Mazy peaked at just over 6lbs of milk per day during her 2018 lactation, and finished with milking 1,220lbs of milk in a mere 260 days. Her progeny has not disappointed either, with every daughter that has been shown (4) having earned GCH legs, and a few BIS wins as well"

His sire, Phoenix Farm Exotic Bird +*B is a heavily used buck in the Winning Streak herd producing numerous daughters that milk with ease and easily finish their chamionships. Unfortunately, due to an accident EB is not himself able to be shown. His owner states, "Exotic's dam is a stunning doe with ideal teat placement, exceptional rear udder height and a strong medial ligament. Something we've seen passed down to his daughters." His sire’s dam is the coveted Black Ice, who was the 1st place Aged Doe and Nigerian Total Performer at the 2015 ADGA National Show. Exotic is described by Winning Streak as "masculine, uphill, level, with a strong brisket"

We are thrilled to be able to bring these genetics to Canada and can't thank Donna at Winning Streak enough for allow us to import Masterpiece! He will be heavily used over the next few breeding seasons.

We absolutely love what Masterpiece is adding to our herd! The texture on his daughters' udders is buttery soft, teat placement, medials, RUH, attachements and capacity are all improved. He's adding finer bone quality to his kids and lengthening their bodies as well.

 

Masterpiece earned his +S status this year after milk testing 9 of his daughters this year, all of whom earned their milk stars! His girls are such a pleasure to milk with that ease to them that we love to see. We will be keeping 4 of his daughters through to a second freshening - Key Hill MP MostValuablePlaya 2*M, Key Hill MP Sensational 2*M, Key Hill MP Luxe 2*M and Key Hill MP Illustrious 3*M.
